Silverlight Shorts

My new XXL blue shorts arrived the other day, so I took them on a VERY long hike here in Melbourne Australia, and they were a dream !
Ordering another pair as I type.

These shorts feel featherlight but handle tough trails like a champ. Zero chafing, even on hot days.

After using these for over a month of trail runs and hikes, I’m seriously impressed. The fabric hasn’t pilled or worn out like other "lightweight" shorts I’ve used. The seams are strong, the waistband is secure, and I love the feel of the inner liner, soft and supportive. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Buying a second pair.

I’ve tried a lot of running shorts, but these are hands down the best. Breathable, no bounce, and the phone pocket is perfect.

These have become my go-to for everything from mountain hikes to gym sessions. I’ve worn them in 95°F heat and didn’t once feel clammy or uncomfortable. The airflow is great, and they dry so fast after getting wet. I’m picky about fit and function, and these hit the mark on both.

I bought these for hiking but ended up using them for everything. I took them to the gym, trail runs, beach trips, even traveling. They’re lightweight but feel durable, and the antimicrobial fabric really works. After sweating all day, they still smell fine. Plus, they look good enough to wear around town. Great all-rounder.

I took these out for a weekend of hiking and scrambling in Utah. They handled sandstone, brush, and sweat without a problem. The zippers are high quality, and the fabric feels premium but tough. Even after getting dirty and rinsing them in a river, they looked fresh the next day.

I was skeptical about how these would hold up in the water, but they drain quickly and don’t balloon like normal shorts (they have these breathability areas on the sides that let air out when swimming). I took a swim in a mountain lake mid-hike, and they dried out fast. They’re now my go-to for backpacking trips where I need one pair to do everything. Practical, lightweight, and surprisingly stylish.

These shorts are the real deal. They’re light, stretch well, and the silver-infused liner actually does prevent odor, even after back-to-back workouts. I’ve done 10+ mile runs in hot weather, and there was no chafing or discomfort. The construction feels very high quality, and they still look new after multiple washes. I’d recommend them to anyone serious about comfort and performance.

Placed my order Dec. 1. They arrived the 11th, within the 15 day window. LG. size fits well. I'm 32 in. waste. I'd like to see an option for a tall size though, the LG size with the XXL length would be better, as they are quite short, and since Polyester shorts don't really snag at the knees like cotton. I'd like to see a dark blue color with length preference options too.

I've been a fan of Silverlight socks for a while now and use them in all the hikes, so I was excited to try the shorts.
Got my pair a couple of days ago and took them on the hike yesterday. I'm impressed, the inner lining is really soft. The outer is stretchy and quiet. These shorts are well-made. Will be my go-to hiking shorts in the future.

First impression first the lightness of the feeling when you wear is absolutely incredible.
The cut of short is well made too with large pocket including one backward.
It will be as good as for good run or for a hike.
With this short Silverlight is not only a brand for unique quality socks now ever.
I wear 33" waist and i took a size L.

I liked the feel of the shorts. The integrated liner is the perfect support…not so constricting as some of the other sports support shorts I’ve worn in the past. The hiking shorts are made of the perfect material to give just the right amount of stretch. The shorts aren’t too tight nor too baggy. I have been wearing them for the past few weeks and still like them. I would buy them again. I do feel like they run small. I’m a 36” waist but needed the XL size.
